As stated in the previous newsletter, our goal for the coming year is ambitious but achievable: to grow to €2,500 per month in regular donations. With that amount, we can structurally cover many operational costs, such as salaries, school fees, and food.

We hope to achieve great things again as a foundation in 2026. We had already been working on improving fire safety at The Ark. In January, we strengthened the safety measures at The Ark Children's Home by installing fire safety equipment provided by the Kiambu County Fire Service.

2024 was our first full financial year. The figures for this year are included in the financial report that we publish in accordance with ANBI guidelines. This can be read via the link at the bottom of the website and also here.

A financial expert has also thoroughly reviewed these figures and shared his findings with us. We are therefore proud to report that the figures are correct and that we will also be following the recommendations from 2026 onwards. The next goal is CBF registration!
