Isaac is building his future — literally.

You may have seen him mentioned in our updates before: Isaac, the young man we have been saving up for to help start his own small welding business. That dream is now becoming reality, one step at a time.

Isaac is currently doing an internship with Josiah, an experienced welder who runs his own business. Josiah has taken him under his wing — not only to teach him the trade, but also to show him how to build a business of his own. From finding clients to pricing your work properly: Isaac is learning it all from someone who has been doing it for years.

And Josiah goes a step further. When he has more work than he can handle, he refers clients on to Isaac. That way, Isaac is already building his own network and reputation while still in his internship.

A wonderful example of how experience gets passed on — from craftsman to craftsman, from one generation to the next.
