Help de kinderen van The Ark met een goede opleiding.
In Kenya, primary school is compulsory and free for everyone. However, this does not mean that everyone can afford to go to school, as this requires a school uniform, payment for the mandatory school lunch and school supplies such as pencils and notebooks. Secondary schools also involve tuition costs. This is an annual battle for The Ark, while they strongly believe that education is the most important tool to help children escape the most dire situations and become independent adults. In 2022, The Ark spent 450,000 KES (€3,130) on school fees and uniforms and in 2023 this was 320,000 KES (€2,225, $2,415). However, after recent price increases, the expected annual cost for 35 children is approximately €9,000 ( 1,300,000 KES, $9,700)
